Life can be like a TV programme…we are watching it from the outside, feeling all the emotions, having all the thoughts of what could, should and might happen.
We are involved on a superficial level and most of us go through life in a very similar way.

There may be parts of our lives that we are super involved with, we plan it out, we do the actions necessary and we “make it happen”.
But it is compartmentalised, it’s in a box.

Or we are not really involved with any part of our lives, we are running on autopilot….each day mostly being the same as the last. The tv show is running on repeat, you can predict everything that is going to be said and happen and you’re getting more and more detached from caring.

But what if you started to ask yourself how it is you want feel, what the actions are that you want to take, what the thoughts are that you want to think?
What if you started to focus on what is you DO want, instead of what you don’t want.
(Side note: knowing what you don’t want can be very helpful and informative….but it is incredibly easy to live life focusing only on what you don’t want)

Allowing yourself to want, to dream, to feel possibilities is important and honestly necessary….and to do this no matter what life circumstances you are currently in.
